TOPTUL's five for Frankfurt: what Rotar Machinery put on Booth F43 at Automechanika, and which part numbers Vesprr Tools has
Five products, one booth, and a show that closes today. Rotar Machinery Industrial Co., the Taichung company behind the TOPTUL brand, has spent 8 to 12 September in Hall 9.0, Booth F43 at Automechanika Frankfurt, and its entry in Messe Frankfurt's exhibitor directory lists exactly five items with part numbers. Three of them are in the Vesprr Tools catalogue. Two are not.
That directory entry is the first dated, primary TOPTUL document this site has had to work from. The company's own news page still tops out at "2024 Automechanika Frankfurt", posted 24 September 2024. Its new-products pages are empty. So when the maker of 1,569 catalogue SKUs stands in front of Europe's aftermarket trade and chooses five things to show, the choice is the news. Here is what it chose, what the listing says about each, and what it leaves out.
The five, with the maker's numbers and the catalogue check
Messe Frankfurt's directory shows what an exhibitor uploads. Rotar uploaded five product entries, each with an item number and a specification block. I searched each number on tools.vesprr.com on the morning of 12 September.
| Item no. | Product (maker's title) | Headline spec, from the listing | In the Vesprr catalogue? |
|---|---|---|---|
| KSAC1680 | 1/2" Dr. Super Duty Air Impact Wrench | Twin hammer; 950 ft-lb / 1,288 Nm max; 8,500 rpm free speed; 90 psi; 5.5 cfm; 180 mm; 1.65 kg | Yes, 1 result; trade price on request |
| GE-12518V | 125-pc VDE Insulated Tool Set with 7-drawer trolley | Live work to 1,000 V; IEC 60900; EPE modular insert trays; "suitable for working on hybrid and electrical vehicles" | Yes, 1 result |
| KARA0306 | Heavy Duty Air Hydraulic Riveter | 3.0/3.2, 4.0, 4.8/5.0, 6.0, 6.4 mm rivets; 15.8 mm stroke; 14,700 N traction; 85–100 psi; 2.11 kg; 275 mm | Yes, 1 result |
| ANBV1635 | 1/2" Dr. Mechanical Torque Wrench, 70–350 Nm | Cr-Mo drive; 24-tooth reversible ratchet; clockwise measurement only; ±4% CW; DIN EN ISO 6789 | No, 0 results |
| GAAI0702 | 7-pc Auto Body Repair Tool Set | Three hammers (JFAB0233, JFAA0133, JFAC0333) and four dollies (JFBI0113, JFBG0112, JFBJ0108, JFBH0107) | Set: no. The three hammers: yes, 1 result each. The four dollies: no |
Read the list as a statement of intent. Air tools, an EV-safe insulated set, a riveter, a torque wrench, body-shop hammers. Nothing from the master-set or socket ranges that fill most of the 1,569. Rotar's registered keywords on the same page start with "Air Tools, Impact Wrench, Impact Socket, Pneumatic Tools" and its two attached e-catalogues are Master Tool Sets and Impact Sockets & Air Wrench. At Frankfurt, TOPTUL is selling itself as an air-tool and workshop-fit-out brand, not a hand-tool brand.
What the listing says, and what it does not
The "About us" text on the directory page is the company's own: "a professional ISO-9001 certified tool manufacturer in Taiwan established in 1981", supplying "more than 120 countries", with "more than 45-years experience". It says TOPTUL products "meet and exceed both USA-ANSI & GERMANY-DIN international quality standard". No certificate number, no test house, no standard reference beyond the two country tags. That is normal for a trade-show profile. It is also not something a buyer can check.
Prices: none, anywhere. Not on the directory, not on toptul.com, and the Vesprr catalogue card reads "Trade price on request". Launch claims: none. The directory does not call any of the five new, and I am not going to either. TOPTUL's own new-products page renders empty, so there is no way to say whether the KSAC1680 is a 2026 tool or a 2019 one. Awards: Messe Frankfurt announced the Innovation Award winners on 8 September, chosen from 47 finalists out of 185 submissions across ten categories. I did not check the winners' list for Rotar and this piece makes no claim either way.
Then the omission you find only by opening the maker's own page. The directory listing for the KSAC1680 gives a maximum torque of 950 ft-lb. The toptul.com product page for the same item number adds a line the show listing dropped.
| KSAC1680 specification | Messe Frankfurt listing | toptul.com product page |
|---|---|---|
| Max. torque | 950 ft-lb / 1,288 Nm | 950 ft-lb / 1,288 Nm |
| Working torque | not listed | 800 ft-lb / 1,085 Nm |
| Free speed | 8,500 rpm | 8,500 rpm |
| Air pressure | 90 psi / 6.2 bar | 90 psi / 6.2 bar |
| Air consumption | 5.5 cfm | 5.5 cfm |
| Inlet / min. hose | 1/4" PT / 3/8" ID | 1/4" PT / 3/8" ID |
| Length / weight | 180 mm / 1.65 kg | 180 mm / 1.65 kg |
| Carton quantity | not listed | 10 |
Working torque is the number a workshop actually gets. Max torque on an impact wrench is the peak the twin-hammer mechanism can deliver under ideal air supply; working torque is what the tool holds in use, and TOPTUL's own figure is 16% lower. The show listing leads with the bigger number. That is how every impact wrench in the world is marketed, and it is still worth writing down before you compare it with a competitor's sheet that quotes the other one.
The wrench that loosens and the wrench that was not stocked
Rotar put an impact wrench and a torque wrench on the same booth, and the pairing is the point. The KSAC1680 undoes a wheel nut. The ANBV1635 does it up to a number: 70 to 350 Nm, clockwise only, ±4% accuracy, "tested and certified according to DIN EN ISO 6789". On 6 September this site ran a piece on what torque-wrench accuracy actually buys you. Set the ANBV1635's ±4% against the price bands in that piece before you decide whether it is the wrench you want; it is the one of the five that the catalogue does not have. The catalogue's torque-wrench search returns 25 items, including window-display micrometer models in 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" and 1" drives and a VDE-insulated one, so the gap is a single part number, not a range. It is still the part number the maker chose to show Europe this week.
The riveter is the other one worth a second look. 14,700 N of traction, a 15.8 mm stroke, and a rivet range from 3.0 to 6.4 mm covers steel and stainless as well as aluminium, which is the difference between a body-shop tool and a fabrication tool. It comes with a spent-mandrel container, two wrenches, a brush, an oil injector and a spare jaw set, per the listing. The catalogue has it. Whether it has it in stock is a different question, and the card does not say.
The EV line, read for what it commits to
The GE-12518V is a 7-drawer trolley with 125 VDE-insulated tools in EPE foam trays, and the listing says the insulated tools are "designed for electrical safety and for working on live components up to 1000 Volts, manufactured and tested according to international standard IEC 60900". IEC 60900 is the international standard for insulated hand tools for live working, and the 1,000 V figure is the listing's own. The next claim, "suitable for working on hybrid and electrical vehicles", is a marketing line rather than a standards line: IEC 60900 does not define a vehicle. A workshop that starts seeing hybrids needs the insulated tools, and it also needs a procedure, a voltage tester and training that no trolley includes. The trolley is the easy part, and it is the part TOPTUL is selling.
The show around it
Messe Frankfurt's 7 September release put "around 4,400 exhibitors from over 80 countries" on the 2026 show. Its 10 September release said more than 2,500 companies hold Blue, Silver or Gold status across the Automechanika family and 51 are in Frankfurt as "Gold Lovers". Today, 12 September, is the last day; the closing release with attendance will follow and is not in this piece. The Vesprr Tools catalogue carries five brands, Toptul, Yato, Hoteche, Total Tool and Intough, and TOPTUL's maker is the one with a Frankfurt directory entry this year.
Automechanika is an automotive aftermarket show, not an industrial one. That fits three of the five products exactly, the body hammers, the EV trolley, the wheel-nut wrench, and fits the riveter and torque wrench less well. It tells you where Rotar thinks its European margin is. For a Pakistani distributor the same five are a reasonable shortlist for the garage trade in Lahore and Karachi, with two orders to place first: the ANBV1635 and the four dollies that make GAAI0702 a set.
The KSAC1680, GE-12518V, KARA0306 and the three JFA-series hammers are in the Vesprr Tools catalogue at trade pricing. Search the part number, add it to a quote cart, and ask for a stock position on any of them before you plan around a date.
